Following a review of the RFU's concussion guidance please read the attached document which details exactly how we will be dealing with ALL suspected cases of concussion.
In summary if concussion is suspected by someone who has been through the headcase training that player MUST be referred to a medical professional for review (e.g. 111, GP or A&E). If they are either suspected or diagnosed with concussion then they MUST go through the Graduated Return to Play Protocol, any deviation to this must be authorised in writing by a registered healthcare professional.
It is important as a parent that you understand this process and headcase training is available online for anyone to participate in.
