Thanks to Lancaster Land Rover, BSRFC U12’s had a surprise visitor at their home fixture v Cambridge on Sunday morning when Saracens and England player Alex Goode dropped in to offer some advice and say hello to the players and coaches. Alex, who was Man of the Match for the Saracens v Harlequins game the day before, spent time watching the matches and interacting with the players, coaches and parents from both clubs.
BSRFC fielded two teams on the morning and in the true spirit of rugby lent Cambridge a couple of players to allow them to field two teams as well. All teams played some great free flowing rugby which ended up with lots of tries scored and Bishop’s Stortford running out overall winners 3 games to 1.
